One day I was curiously looking at all the book titles, row by row at our office library. A large collection of technical tomes always left me diffident. So I went ahead and searched for a book at the general section. With a sky blue jacket, having an image rolled on both sides, with an artistic font of title and a cute cartoon of a bird hanging at the center, a book grabbed my attention. It was written-" Things A Little Bird Told me- confessions of the creative mind." My connection to the word creative (As I always brag I am !! ) made me to have a glimpse of what the book was all about. Author - Biz Stone, Co-founder of Twitter. I never heard about him, appreciated my general knowledge levels and then continued reading the cover page. At the bottom, it was written "A unique gift of perspective to anyone dreaming of taking risks, changing their lives, and changing the world ". Interesting and relative, I thought and borrowed it from our library.
Embarked on reading it right from that day.By the time I completed it Biz was no more a stranger but turned to be my best friend and mentor.True, the narration was in such a way that you will forget you are reading a book instead you feel you are listening to your friend's own story of his life. His modest way of presenting make anyone to connect with him.The book was all about how Twitter took its form and its journey from a start up to a company having millions of users world wide.More importantly the contribution of Biz in it. He never ever exhibited a pride of being a Co-founder. His way of thinking, his strategies during hardships, his involvement in charity works and his long lasting love towards his work and his relations made him what he is today.I strongly recommend this book for all those young entrepreneurs as it silently teaches many values.

Few Excerpts:
- Our group's ideas aren't the best. It's easy to agree with this notion in concept, but it's much harder to swallow your pride when you have to let go of an idea you've championed.I wanted a company to acknowledge and appreciate those sacrifices as much as we applaud the great ideas.
- Opportunity is a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something. But if it just a set of circumstances, why are we waiting for the stars to align? Rather waiting and pouncing with a high degree of failure, you might as well go and create the set of circumstances for your own.
- Our( Biz and his wife Livia) version of buying a Lamborghini and owning a giant house is that we give away a lot of money to help others.
- What if we were not citizens of a particular country or state but were citizens of the world.Imagine all the world's astrophysicists put their egos aside and collaborated on Mars mission?
It is really worth reading this book which is an apt example of Look Inside and Think outside. Please step ahead and read it. Signing off with a thrilled feeling that shortly after starting my blog I have written an article on Biz, a great blogger whom Evan, founder of Blogger company himself follow..
Nice review..would definitely like to read it!
